McKinney Real Estate

Located in the center of Collin County, and just 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, McKinney is one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Although the population has continued to rise, McKinney still upholds their tagline, “Unique by nature.” The city strives to provide their citizens with the feel of a small town. That charm is best represented in the downtown; a quaint square encompassing the McKinney Performing Arts Center and offering unique shops and eating for residents and visitors. The MPAC regularly has performances and frequently holds free photography exhibits. A Green Campaign is also sponsored by the city, which works to inform and inspire residents to keep the air, land, and water clean. The Oak Hollow Golf Course, located in the heart of the city, adds to green landscape of the city. This beautifully maintained golf course opened a new club house in May 2010. The Oak Hollow Golf Course truly adds to the community by holding charity events, tournaments, league play, and of course, fun and relaxation. Students attend the highly ranked schools of McKinney ISD, where teachers and staff strive for excellence. And for the business convenience of the residents, the Collin County Courthouse is located in McKinney.  Highway 380 and Highway 75 intersect in the city, which provides residents with quick and easy access to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the DFW International Airport. With everything that McKinney has to offer its residents, it’s no wonder that in August 2010 Money Magazine ranked McKinney as #5 on their list of “Best Places to Live in the Country.”
