Centrally located in Denton County, Argyle is able to maintain a small-community environment, while remaining close to all the attractions of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Argyle community is truly based on home-town values; volunteerism is prevalent in all levels of the community, from in the school, to firefighters, to helping others through programs such as Meals on Wheels. As of 2010 the Town Hall was renovated and now provides 3,000 square feet of community space available for reservation and public functions. Argyle operates its own school district, Argyle ISD, and has been repeatedly successful in UIL competitions in academics, sports, and the fine arts. As with many high schools in Texas, Argyle is no exception and takes a lot of pride in supporting and cheering on their Eagles. Argyle is truly a town for coming together and they continue to encourage this mentality through multiple annual community events.

Copper Canyon
Located just to the east of Argyle, Copper Canyon is another small town located just far enough away from the larger cities to escape the day-to-day traffic and hurried life style, but close enough to retain all the conveniences and entertainment of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Copper Canyon really has done a great job in finding the balance between rural and modern living. Local taxes are kept exceptionally low, while students attend school at the larger districts of either Denton ISD or Lewisville ISD. Horse trails are maintained locally, yet the town is only 15 miles away from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Copper Canyon prides itself on the breath of fresh air it provides outside of the large cities.
