Lake Dallas
The small town of Lake Dallas is located just south of Denton and about 30 miles north of Dallas on Lewisville Lake. Lake Dallas is unique in its location, in that regardless of one’s position in the town, both the lake and I-35 E are just minutes away. Lake Dallas maintains a sense of community through the Lake City Sports and various classes, such as yoga, which are offered in the Lake Dallas City Hall. Growth is also evident in the completion of the Lake Dallas Toll Bridge and the success of the local
Lakeview Marina, which is utilized not only by Lake Dallas residents, but surrounding cities as well. Students attend
Lake Dallas ISD along with Hickory Creek and Corinth students.
Hickory CreekHickory Creek is one of three Lake Cities, which also includes Lake Dallas and Corinth. Hickory Creek is the southern most of the three, located just fifteen minutes south of Denton on I-35 E. Residents of Hickory Creek enjoy multiple parks, one of which has a boat dock, while remaining within minutes of the highway, providing quick access to Dallas. Students attend
Lake Dallas ISD, and in doing so are able to meet all Lake Cities students. Hickory Creek has their own police department providing optimal safety for residents.
CorinthCorinth is located on the I-35 E corridor between Dallas and Denton, as are all the Lake Cities. This area has enjoyed both residential and business growth over the past few years, without its losing small-town charm. Corinth residents enjoy six parks, along with nature walking trails, sports through the Lake Cities, and of course, quick and easy access to Lewisville Lake. It is also home to Oakmont Country Club Estates, a community of homes surrounded by walking trails, a golf course and country club. Students attend either
Lake Dallas ISD or
Denton ISD. Like all of the other Lake Cities, Corinth also provides their own police protection.
